General Purpose of Position:

Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, the HR Recruiter II assists in the development and implementation of recruiting and staffing initiatives for the GMAC Corporate Staffs – Finance, Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, Legal and Human Resources.Activities include workforce planning, sourcing channel selection and utilization, resume screening, candidate communications, and consulting with hiring managers regarding sourcing, interviewing and candidate selection.Work involves accuracy and initiative utilizing independent judgment in order to make decisions.

Time Spent:Major Duties and Responsibilities:
50%Partner with management and departmental HR Teams to plan
andimplement HRstrategies necessary to meet the recruiting and
staffing needs of GMAC's Corporate Staffs
20% Manage 3rd party vendor relations
10% Coordinate GMAC's College/University Recruiting efforts
10% Manage GMAC's open position posting process
10% Engage in continuous learning and professional development


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· College degree or equivalent training
· 3 or more years of recruiting experience; finance/accounting recruiting experience preferred
· Proficient knowledge of PC applications, including experience with applicant tracking system(s)
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
· High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
· Experience managing vendor relations preferred
