The award-winning B.L.A.C. Detroit Magazine is holding an open model call for a Detroit model that will be featured on an upcoming cover. The magazine is searching for an African-American male between the ages of 25-40 with a clear, chocolate brown complexion. Should have some modeling experience, acting ability, and the talent to relay a mood with facial expression.

The model call will run from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at the magazine’s office, 22041 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale, MI 48220. Candidates should bring contact information and two photos—a headshot and a full-body shot. No phone calls, please. If necessary, email questions to model@BLACdetroit.com.

Each year, B.L.A.C., an acronym for Black Life, Arts & Culture, wins multiple national and state awards for its design and editorial content.
